When I decided to postpone my plan to do an easy homework assignment (another homework due), I decided to travel to an out-of-city place. While I have limited time to do my business, I can’t guarantee that a full-time commuter student will stay longer than 14:00 (2pm). By staying longer, I won’t be able to have enough time to do an assignment, and I was only available for a quick lunch break and go out to explore what I like to see and do. I also have some travel planning to do and to finish my tax filing.
At Jefferson Station after the Church Service with my friends, I decided to go on a trip to Norristown instead of Warminster. I don’t think I have time to go shopping at Walmart because I need to save more money for my upcoming trips abroad. The reason why I want to visit Norristown is that I have not been there since I moved back to Philadelphia for formal schooling. I want to experience my firsthand at Norristown to learn more about the places.
Just then when I was on the train to Norristown Transportation Center, I took some pictures of the scenery and studied another accounting class. It was a study guide for finals, which can be very difficult to pass. Yikes!!! Luckily, I passed all three exams so far and rewarded myself for traveling again.
Norristown:
I grabbed a quick lunch while writing a journal about the city I will adore future Norristown Trip, which includes Norristown Farm Park, Elmwood Park Zoo, and other local events and attractions. It is the best time to go when I have time and commitment.
Just after a quick lunch, I headed to the Hancock Square, where Montgomery County Courthouse sits. I walked pass by Penn Street and turned right at DeKalb Street and…
Just then finally I saw miles long Schuylkill trail, which comes from Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park before deciding to take a fun tram: Norristown High-Speed Line (NHSL).
I decided to travel back to Darby to go for a bit and then I will go home via Market Frankford Line to Frankford Transportation Center.
While I waited for NHSL to depart Norristown Transportation Center, I review my class lecture and study notes. The train will leave in 5 minutes. While I was waiting for the tram to depart, I reviewed my class’ lecture notes.
5 minutes later, I decided to stow my study notes and looked out of my windows. Excitement, the tram left the station. Bye Bye, Norristown.
If you want to travel to Norristown, here are my places you want to go and see (not a complete list):
- Norristown Fark Park – it is beautiful in the spring, summer, and fall
- Hancock Square (Montgomery County Courthouse)
- Center Theater
- Elmwood Park Zoo
- Schuylkill River Trail – from Philadelphia
If you want more Norristown attractions and places, feel free to include as well.
If you want more travel tips, feel free to talk to a person who loves to travel.
Fact about me: I have a plethora of travel knowledge, tips, and tricks. I usually spend some time traveling on Septa bus/subway/train (commuter), planes (few flying trips a year), cars (family’s trip to Scranton, PA), Amtrak trains (to Canada), Megabus (to NYC, Boston, Washington), etc.
